The Jerusalem restaurant, inside Prague’s Hotel Carol, serves authentic Israeli cuisine. Close to the O2 arena, it’s the perfect place for a pre-concert meal, but good enough that you’ll return on non-concert days.
We booked a table for 18.15 and our concert (Andrea Bocelli) was scheduled to begin at 20.00. The restaurant is less than a ten-minute walk to the O2.
The place was full when we arrived. The restaurant is quite small, but there are also tables in the bar. I took the following pictures when we left at 19.30 so looks like everyone had the same idea as us.
Our waiter was friendly despite being really busy. Food delivery was a little slow as concert goers had overwhelmed the kitchen. Prices correct as of January 2026.
A 0.1l glass of Primitivo 110 Kč which we thought was a little over-priced. A carafe of tap water 55 Kč.
We chose three items from the mezze list: Hummus, Baba ganoush (smoked eggplant dip with pomegranate seeds and coriander) and Tabbuleh (chopped fresh parsley with bulgur, tomatoes, onions, lemon juice, salt and pepper) – comes with pita bread. 275 Kč.
Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh and homemade.
The beef patties, served with fries, were also delicious. One of the patties is missing from this photo as my companion was panicking that we would be late and didn’t wait for the photo.
The O2 Arena is a disorganised mess, with queues everywhere. We still made it to our seats just in time for the concert.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Jerusalem and resolved to visit on a non-concert night. If you plan to visit for a pre-concert dinner, I’d advise booking a table for 17.45.
