Robam is a theatre restaurant in the heart of Siem Reap’s lively Pub Street, where traditional Khmer dance performances accompany dinner.

Pub Street is pretty lively at night, but we didn’t feel unsafe there. The entrance to Roban is on the left of the photo below. There’s another restaurant downstairs and you have to find your way through and up.

Upstairs, there is a large room with a stage. We hadn’t booked, but there was space for us.

There’s also an outside terrace, but you’d miss the show if you sat there.

The staff were friendly and professional. Prices correct as of February 2026.

A glass of wine $4. A 1.5l bottle of water $3.50.

We were brought summer spring rolls and dips as an amuse bouche.

The Khmer curry set ($12 including rice) was a great way to try three dishes.

If you want to keep it simple, the Khmer red curry ($9 including rice) is for you.

We weren’t charged a 5% service charge or 10% tax as we were in Chanrey Tree or Sokkhak River Lounge, where the food was a little better but prices almost double. There was no charge for the dance show.

Please watch the video above to see the show. Starting at 7.30pm, we found it interesting and entertaining, but to be honest, one visit was enough!

All the dances are described in a brochure left on each table. At the end of each dance, diners are invited onto the stage to take photos with the performers.

Robam is great value and a recommended place to visit during your stay in Siem Reap.
