Modern-country singer songwriter Luke Bryan played the Jacksonville VyStar Arena on June 13th 2024. Here’s what a VIP experience looks like.

VIP tickets don’t include parking. The closest lot we could find was Lot P on 1300 E. Duval St. for US$27 – was just a five-minute walk.

We didn’t see tailgate parties like we did nine years before at the, now demolished, Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in  California – but that was an out-of-town venue with its own parking.

The main entrance to the arena wasn’t that busy.

The VIP entrance was further down E. Duval St. There we picked up our VIP merchandise – a Luke Bryan branded, thermal cup. Nine years ago was a cool bag and a poster.

The VIP ‘Luke’s Lounge’ had some posters on display, a Crash My Playa exhibit, complimentary (cheap) food and some soft drinks and a pay bar. A large margherita US$25! The most important part is a personal appearance from Luke.

Here’s he’s just talking to the small crowd and I also added him talking to the crowd in the main arena – had to separate chat from songs for copyright reasons.

Luke performed a few songs on the VIP lounge, including his latest: Love You, Miss You, Mean It.

We then went to our main arena seats. Section 102 Row E Seats 3 and 4. This is the view without any zoom – only five rows from the front of seating.

Here’s Luke performing ‘That’s My Kind of Night’.

Almost everyone stood and swayed/danced for the entire two-hour concert. If you want to sit, then choose a front row seat or you won’t see much.

Exiting the arena about 11pm was reasonably fast. Exiting the car park and getting to the highway added maybe 20 minutes.

If you’re already planning to purchase premium seats, then I’d recommend adding the VIP experience.
