Tartuf Shop is one of several restaurants within Tirana’s Toptani castle walls and specialises in meals infused with truffles.
Prices correct as of April 2025. 100 Lek is around €1 or US$1.11.
A small beer 320 Let. A glass of red wine 450 Let. A 0.75l bottle of water 280 Let. The staff were really friendly and spoke perfect English.
The truffle ravioli (800 Let) was as delicious as it sounds – let’s face it, if you shave enough truffle over anything it will taste good.
The veal fillet with mashed potatoes and green beans (1900 Let) was lovely and tender.
Note that not all restaurants in the castle walk have their own toilets and you have to use shared facilities – Tartuf Shop do not have their own facilities. The shared toilets nearby are okay, but does mean you’d need to leave the restaurant and walk a few metres.
We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this restaurant.
