If you’re looking for classic Albanian food in Tirana, the ODA Garden restaurant is the place to visit.
The restaurant is hidden down a quiet street.
It was too cold to eat in the garden when we visited.
We went into one of the upstairs rooms.
There are also a few rooms downstairs and another semi-outdoor space at the rear. The place is a labyrinth. The owner is really friendly and will happily offer you a tour.
Prices correct as of April 2025. 100 Lek is around €1 or US$1.11.
A large draft Puka beer 400 Let. A bottle of dark Korca beer 300 Let. Bread basket 100 Lek.
The aubergine/eggplant stuffed with vegetables (650 Let) was really delicious.
The Beef Rissoles (950 Let) were also really good. Google translated the menu as meatballs which is close enough.
We really enjoyed our visit to ODA Garden and would visit again. The place is definitely authentic, but seems to have been picked up by several bloggers and can be full during the summer months. During our visit, all the diners were tourists of different nationalities.
