Bar Helios is a lovely bar, with great views over the Universal Epic Universe park in Florida. It isn’t busy as most visitors to the park don’t realise they can visit.

The Helios Grand Hotel has direct access to Epic Universe – hotel guests also have early access to the park. You don’t currently need to be a hotel guest to enter the hotel, although you’ll need your ticket (or face) to re-enter the park.

Take the elevator up to the top floor and you’ll find Bar Helios.

The staff are friendly. A large beer US$14.50 and a glass of water is free. There is also food available. Visit was May 2025.

It’s a great place to relax and take a break from the heat, lines and people in the Epic Universe park.

The open air terrace is comfortable, albeit a bit hot during the day.

The views are spectacular and you’d have a perfect seat to watch the night-time fountain show.

You can visit without an Epic Universe ticket. Parking at the hotel is over US$125, but the bar will validate parking up to three hours if you spend over US$75.

Bar Helios is well worth a visit – you’ll find it hard to drag yourself away and back to the heat, hustle and bustle of the park.
