Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay is located in the Marina Bay Sands shopping complex in Singapore. The upstairs restaurant has great views and most importantly, great food.

The lovely restaurant interior is modelled after its London counterpart.

We had a reservation, but were initially asked to sit away from the window, next to a family with two small kids. Luckily, we were able to negotiate a seat by the window with views of Marina Bay.

We later spotted an elderly European couple in our original seats, clearly unhappy with their location.

The staff were friendly, although service was a bit haphazard. The delicious bread basket didn’t arrive until after our starters and it took twenty minutes before we were able to pay the bill.

We were here for the Wellington Experience S$98 per person. This doesn’t appear on the website, but seems to be a permanent fixture. Prices correct as of April 2026.

A carafe of water S$3. A Pimm’s Cup S$23. Wine pairing for the Wellington Experience S$58. I can’t remember the wines, but they were generous pours and complemented the food perfectly.

All three courses were absolutely delicious. For us, the obvious choices were seared salmon, beef wellington and sticky toffee pudding.

The salmon was sashimi-grade fresh.

Beef wellington is a Ramsay signature dish. There is a lot of work involved – I’ve made it myself following Gordon’s recipe.

As we dined, the sun set over Marina Bay.

I can’t imagine why anyone would choose ‘exotic fruits and sorbet’ over sticky toffee pudding.

It was my birthday the following day – as a result, we were treated to a slice of cake, plus a card signed by all the staff.

The Artyzen Hotel should take note of the above and hang their heads in shame!

Our view, was now even more spectacular. Note that you’re slightly too far along the promenade to see the Spectra – fountain light show.

One issue that needs to be resolved is the lack of toilet facilities – I assume because the restaurant is within a shopping mall. However, the closest facilities are a short walk away and are also inadequate, with wait lines for ladies.

A 10% service charge and 9% government tax were added to our bill. There was a space for gratuity and I had the feeling that our waitress was expecting more. However, we had been told that tipping wasn’t expected in Singapore and left nothing extra. If you’re a local, please let me know in the comments if I should have tipped.

Outside, there was a relaxed bar scene.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Bread Street kitchen – the food is the star here.
