At Brambory, the potato takes centre stage. Inspired by dishes from around the world, this humble ingredient is transformed into an impressive variety of flavours, textures and culinary surprises.

The restaurant is just opposite Pankrác Metro station on Line C, just four stops from the centre of Prague. Brambory is Czech for potatoes.

We sat in the conservatory with views to the street.

All the staff were friendly and professional. Prices correct as May 2026.

A 0,75 l bottle of tap water 49 Kč. A 0.15l glass of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo MODA Talamonti 128 Kč.

Roasted duck breast with teriyaki sauce, stir fried edamame, shiitake, carrots and pea pods, potato croquettes with wasabi, mayonnaise, tonkatsu sauce, and katsuobushi. Perfectly-cooked duck elevated by the delicious potato croquettes.

We didn’t want to wait until our next visit until sharing this great restaurant with you. When we sample more dishes we’ll update this review with them.
